I know that PRC like to deny it, but that's the way it is.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6399730406480392183.post-75139083012879114682010-10-16T09:13:15.245-03:002010-10-16T09:13:15.245-03:00When it comes to accuracy of data, all I have to g...When it comes to accuracy of data, all I have to go on personally is what is posted on the PBOC and SAFE websites. As I noted, Professor Shih's research shows that China's fiscal situation is not clear cut because of local government debt, however, the same could be said for the United States where state, county and city debt is not included in the total United States debt statistics.A Political Junkiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03342345936277964422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6399730406480392183.post-79254327849326895762010-10-15T16:35:06.549-03:002010-10-15T16:35:06.549-03:00I'm just curious here, because I'm not an ...I'm just curious here, because I'm not an economist nor do I claim to know much about international economic relations. Is the ratio of external debt to GDP the only indicator of the health of a given country's economy? It seems to me, and again I don't have any experience here, that there are more statistics/ratios which could help clarify what is really going on in China and in the US-along with some clarity regarding the accuracy/integrity of the information coming out of China. Thank you!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
