The point is all about occupying the city or country simply to garisson it. That is why they are in Iraq, Afghanistan, and dozens of other countries. What they desire is control, and to do that they stay in countries. Take Syria as a classic example. Trump in his wisdom made a statement that US troops were coming home ( all 2000 of them ) from Syria as ISIS had been defeated. A few days later Lindsey Graham a total Empire placeman, what they call a RINO in the US, had a few words with Trump,and persuaded him to leave maybe 200 troops in Syria. Why is such a small number even remotely relevant ? Because leaving Syria would allow it to rebuild itself under Asad, and staying in Syria with even 20 US troops who are untouchable, allows the US to keep some control. The Empire has not given up its desire to topple Asad, but without any military presence in the country, to come back later looks much more like an invasion.Norah Deannoreply@blogger.com
