I
rarely link to other media websites but this one was just way too difficult to
pass up. The story is supplied by RT, previously known as Russia Today, a
global television network based in the Russian Federation. Surprisingly,
RT is the second-most watched foreign news network in the United States after
the British BBC News.
In
this article, RT outlines the use of video by Fox allegedly showing the riots
that followed the recent elections in Russia. Please watch the Fox News
highly edited version of the video and then watch the unedited Associated Press
video at the bottom of the story showing where the riots really took place. Also,
please note that the individual Russians that the reporters are interviewing
are wearing very heavy winter clothing, unlike the individuals involved in the
source video.
This
is the Fox link to the video:
Odd, the video now seems to be missing!
Now who's propagandizing? It kind of makes one wonder just what to believe, doesn’t
it?
Here it is

The Communists failed to steal the election.
ReplyDeleteDon't believe any news coming out of Russia.
During the Russian Civil War, Cossack regions became centres for the Anti-Bolshevik White movement.
Putin is a Cossack.
People aren't thinking about Russian history.
You should post this on facebook. I'm not worried about putin but I worry about suppression in so called democratic world. Last time I checked wall St. protest was by drug addicts.... So I don't believe western media anymore. The man who came with truths is on the way to prison (Assange)
ReplyDeletePutin is a Cossack? Where did you get this information from? I am Russian and I've never heard about that. I have just googled that out of curiosity and there was no mention of such fact at all. Anyway, he doesn't have anything Cossack either in his appearance or in his behavior. Cossacks have always loved their country above all and were ready to sacrifice their lives for Russia. Putin on the contrary sacrifices the whole country to his and his friends' interests.
ReplyDeleteAnd on behalf of this video... It was very stupid of Fox to show Greek riots pretending it happened in Russia. I just wonder if they did it by mistake (which is very unprofessional) or on purpose (which is also strange because they must have known that their lie would be exposed).
ReplyDeleteRT, previously known as Russia Today, is a global multilingual television news network based in the Russian Federation run by the state-owned, state-run RIA Novosti.: Now who's propagandizing? It kind of makes one wonder just what to believe, doesn’t it?
ReplyDeleteAt least RT's footage is real and not made up like Fox. Whenever I see Americans eagerly trying to unseat a ruler anywhere, I have to wonder why and to what ends, or are you one of those that falls for all that "spreading democracy" BS that the US State Dept. feeds the mindless around the world. Beware when your enemy is trying to influence your political process. Be very aware!
ReplyDeleteI suspect the inclusion of the leader video was a mistake as the remaining portion of the Fox video is of Russia
ReplyDeleteAnyone watching Faux news and expecting to be informed of the truth is totally misinformed.
ReplyDeleteThe Wall Street Protest groups are not a bunch of drug addicts. They are the middle/working class. The Republicans sent some bad seeds into the mix to film them and discredit this movement. You surely don't have your facts straight when you spew misinformation like this!
ReplyDeleteRT is the best TV station, that is why manny people in US and the resto of the world is watching in
ReplyDeleteIt seems Fox News is even less reliable than Russia Today... but we already know that they both produce garbage propaganda.
ReplyDeletePity that Fox News wasn't around when Hitler was marching on Moscow. Oh, wait, maybe it was. Maybe that's why he sent the lads off in summer uniforms.
