I apologize for the late
posting today but I was up until 2:00 am watching the election results from
across Canada. It certainly appears that the Conservative Party didn't
see the crimson train coming towards them; perhaps the Party of Harper mistook
the train's headlight for the glow emanating from Stephen Harper's halo.
I have no comments of
substance to make at this point on the sea change in Canada's political theatre, however, here's a video that summarizes my
feelings this morning:
Remember, it's as Stephen Harper said in his concession speech, "the people are never wrong". Perhaps if he had listened to the people a bit more during his tenure in the House of Commons, the outcome of the 2015 election would have been entirely different.
