That's right, it's a big pair of scissors!

There are three lessons that could be learned from this demonstration:

1.) When using props on the floor of the Senate to make an important point, it would probably best to rehearse said demonstration in your office before taking them public.

2.) Never give sharp objects to Senators.

3.) Just because you cut up America's federal government credit card, the debt and deficit don't just magically disappear.
